Statement

When I die and go to heaven, I want the job of painting the early morning sky. For now, I practice expressing my love of nature, and color in oils.

Biography

Donna Raven's love of art and budding talent began with a big gold star from her kindergarten teacher for Donna's drawing of her favorite circus animals. With that Donna started creating pieces of art at every chance. Growing up in Pennsylvania Dutch Country, she couldn't wait for her grandmother to return from the farmers market with her meats double wrapped in large pieces of (to Donna) drawing paper. Donna tried to emerge as a painter early in life, but work and family left her no time. However those long commutes to work became an inspiration for her mind and soul. Now, a bit more seasoned in life and following the path she was meant to, Donna can finally realize her dreams and express herself through her artwork.
